Day 1
Guwahati Airport / Rly Station – Shillong (100 kms / 03 hrs.)
On arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station & transfer to Shillong (4,900 ft.), this is called ‘Scotland of the East”. Enroute stop at Umiam Lake, surrounded by the sylvan hills. Overnight stay at a hotel in Shillong.

Day 2
Excursion to Cherrapunjee (60 kms / 2 hrs.)
After early breakfast, we travel to Cherrapunji, the wettest place on earth. You will witness the beautiful Nohkalikai waterfall, the caves of Mawsmai and the famous living root bridges. While returning to Shillong, stop at Elephanta falls. Overnight stay at hotel at Shillong.

Day 3
Visit Ward’s Lake and Don Bosco Museum
After early breakfast and Check out from hotel, travel to Guwahati. En route visit Ward’s Lake and Don Bosco Museum ( Closed on Sundays) . Late afternoon check-in at your hotel. In the evening free at leisure. An optional tour of the Golden Sunset cruise on the Brahmaputra River is recommended. Overnight stay at a hotel in Guwahati.

Hotel – Guwahati Airport / Rly Station
Before one departs from Guwahati, a visit to Kamakhya Temple is a must. After darshan, you will be transferred to Guwahati Airport / Railway Station for the journey back home. Note: Temple Timing 08:00 A.M till 01:00 P.M & 3:00 P.M till its gets dark. The visit will depend on the departure time. It might be scheduled on the previous day in case of early departure.
